At 6:30pm, come along as Herpetologist Peter R. Warny, Jr. of Port Washington, NY. joins our staff to lead children ages 8 and under (and adults) on a hike to Bechtel Lake in search of amphibians.
At 7:30pm, children ages 9 and older (and adults) are invited to hike to a vernal pool which comes alive this time of year as frogs and salamanders come out of hibernation and begin to breed.
Wear boots and bring a flashlight. Pre-register by April 8th. FREE.
