Have fun and tune up your sight-singing and musicianship skills with a leisurely read-through of The A Cappella Singer - a compendium of Motets, Madrigals, Chansons, Carols, Ayres, Ballets, and other "pop songs" of the day from the sixteenth through the nineteenth century, for mixed voices, by the likes of Morley, Weelkes, Gibbons, Purcell, and di Lasso. Led by the Westchester Oratorio Society’s own Artistic Director and conductor, Ben Niemczyk, choral singers of all levels are welcome!
