Fake Kidnapping Report; Car Rolls Down West Hyatt; Violent Domestic Dispute: Police Blotter Mount Kisco

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the incidents to which the Westchester County Police responded in Mount Kisco recently.

Thursday, June 22 – 5:45 p.m. – A village resident reported to Westchester County police that her husband was almost struck by a speeding car as he crossed Barker Street. The vehicle was described as a silver BMW sedan.

Wednesday, June 21 – 8:12 p.m. – Michael Santini, 36, of West Main Street was charged with two counts of Assault 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, felonies, and Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor, following a domestic dispute at his home. Two persons suffered injuries in the incident and were transported by ambulance to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla for treatment. Santini was held overnight at county police headquarters, was arraigned in Mount Kisco Justice Court and released on $500 bail.

3:22 p.m. – Westchester County Police assisted a woman who was suffering from leg pain and having trouble walking at a medical office on Lexington Avenue. She was taken by ambulance to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.

Tuesday, June 20 –2:50 p.m. -- Westchester County Police assisted Con Edison personnel in entering an unoccupied home on Woodland Street to investigate an odor of gas. The homeowner was notified by Con Edison and the premises were secured after the incident was over.

Monday, June 19 – 12:23 p.m. – A parked Subaru vehicle rolled down West Hyatt Avenue before striking a curb and coming to a stop. The car’s owner said he neglected to put on the parking brake.

4:45 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to a building in the 300 block of Lexington Avenue on a report that a woman was being held there against her will. The information was initially provided to the NYPD and passed on to county police. A search of the building was conducted and the information was determined to be false.
