Giving: Toy Drive at Briarcliff Middle, Todd Elementary Schools

Briarcliff High School student Andrew Sugrue is collaborating with Neighbors Link for a gift drive this holiday season. He’s collecting new, unwrapped toys.

“This is a great opportunity to give to others less fortunate than we, especially so close to home,” he says.

It’s easy to help: The drop-off bins are located in the Todd Elementary School and Briarcliff Middle School lobbies. The drive goes till Dec. 12.

Neighbors Link will then those toys as part of their “Mercado de Las Fiestas” (Holiday Market), during which parents can select toys for their kids.

“This will allow these children to receive a gift this holiday season, something many of us take for granted,“ Sugrue says.
