Great Chappaqua Bake Sale 2014 Has Already Raised $10,500 to Fight Childhood Hunger

The actual event isn't until tomorrow!

From Great Chappaqua Bake Sale

Tomorrow is the day the Chappaqua community comes together once again to help fight childhood hunger. We are so excited to announce that as of this morning, we have already raised over to $10,500 for Share Our Strength and No Kid Hungry. All monies we raise together will fund meals programs in New York State that feed hungry children.

A huge thank you to all of the families baking today and to all of the businesses and volunteers involved in this effort. It really does take a village!

For those of you who want to purchase your raffle tickets online, please note online sales will close today at 3pm. (http://join.nokidhungry.org/goto/chappaquafive) Raffle tickets can still be purchased all day tomorrow at the event.

We are hoping to raise $20,000 this year, which would connect kids with 200,000 meals. We are expecting a gorgeous day of family fun at the Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival (www.ccbfestival.org) and we can’t wait to see you all there.

Best,
