Headphones Stolen; Car Repossessed: Mount Kisco Police Blotter

Here are some of the recent incidents to which the Westchester County Police have responded in Mount Kisco.

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Lost drivers license, unwanted text messages, false alarm: Here are some of the most recent calls to which the Westchester County Police have responded in the village.

Friday, Dec. 22 – 1:42 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Park Drive on an activated burglar
alarm. It was determined that a house cleaner had set the alarm off in error.
Thursday, Dec. 21 – 4:03 p.m. -- Westchester County Police were notified that a vehicle was being
repossessed in the Blackeby Place municipal parking lot. The vehicle was secured and towed without
incident.
1:49 p.m. – A resident of High Street reported that a hissing sound was coming from a gas meter in her
home. The woman was advised to leave the residence. The Mount Kisco Fire Department was notified
and responded to the scene.
12:51 p.m. – A village resident came to the county police precinct on Green Street to report that she has
been receiving unwanted text messages from her ex-husband. She asked for a report to document her
complaint so she could submit to the judge handling her divorce proceeding.
Wednesday, Dec. 20 – 12:32 p.m. -- Employees at Staples on North Bedford Road reported to county
police that a man stole headphones valued at $104. Employees provided the license plate of the vehicle
the man drove off in. An investigation is continuing.
10:54 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Gregory Avenue on a report that an elderly
woman was in pain and feeling ill. She was transported by ambulance to Northern Westchester Hospital
Center.
Tuesday, Dec. 19 – 6:04 p.m. – A school bus driver from a private bus company reported to county
police that a passing vehicle clipped a side-view mirror on the bus and drove off. No visible damage to
the mirror or side of the bus was observed by officers or a supervisor from the company who responded
to the scene.
7:15 a.m. – A village resident came to the precinct on Green Street to report that she had lost her
driver’s license. An officer provided her with information about how to obtain a replacement through
DMV.
