MOUNT KISCO, NY — The Stop & Shop on Bedford Road is giving shoppers the chance to support the Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry and the environment at the same time.

Stop & Shop's community bag program will benefit the food pantry during the entire month of March. A portion of the proceeds from reusable bags sold at the Stop & Shop store, located at 195 N. Bedford Rd., will be donated to the non-profit organization.

Every $2.50 reusable Community Bag sold supports a non-profit local to the store in which it was purchased. Each month, at every Stop & Shop location, a different local non-profit is selected to benefit from the sale of these special reusable Community Bags. Donations from the program started in 2019 have supported groups focused on education, civic, health/wellness, hunger relief and military/veteran organizations.
