MOUNT KISCO, NHY — Here are some of the incidents to which Westchester County police responded in Mount Kisco recently.

Friday, March 29 – 2:43 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to South Moger Avenue on a complaint that a person was panhandling inside a store. The person was gone upon an officer’s arrival.
11:35 a.m. – A resident of Sutton Manor reported that he was in pain and requested transport to the hospital. He was taken by Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow.
8:27 a.m. – A Connecticut man was charged with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor, after he returned to a store where he had allegedly shoplifted the day before. Staff at Rite-Aid contacted county police to report that a man who stole a bag of cashews valued at $7.99 a day earlier was in the store again. The 22-year-old Ridgefield resident was booked at the county police precinct on Green Street and released pending an April 11 appearance in Mount Kisco Justice Court.

Thursday, March 28 – 11:05 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Carpenter Avenue on a report of a domestic dispute. A woman there told officers that her ex-boyfriend shoved her during an argument and then left the premises.
9:41 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Langeland Drive on a report of a domestic dispute between a man and woman. Officers determined the dispute was verbal in nature only.
8:50 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to the Mount Kisco railroad station on a report of a fight in progress on board a train. Officers detained two men and turned the investigation over to MTA Police upon their arrival.
4:37 p.m. – A resident of Gregory Avenue reported that $5,000 worth of jewelry was taken from her residence while she was out for several hours. The woman said she suspects an ex-boyfriend used a spare key she hides on the property to enter the home and take the jewelry. An investigation is continuing.

Wednesday, March 27 – 3:21 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Northern Westchester Hospital Center after a youth who was brought there for a psychiatric evaluation fled the premises. Officers located the youth and his mother nearby and he agreed to return with her to the hospital.

Tuesday, March 26 – 6:01 p.m. – An officer found a loose dog in the lobby of a building East Main Street. The only tag the dog was wearing was from a local veterinary practice. The officer brought the dog to the vet, who agreed to keep the dog until its owner could be contacted to come and get it.
11:33 a.m. – A village resident reported that her ex-boyfriend has been harassing her with unwanted text messages and veiled threats on social media.
