Snow could get heavy this afternoon.

The Friday evening commute promises to be a mess with reduced visibilities and slippery roads across northern Westchester County.

Hudson Valley Weather warns that snowfall rates could hit 1 inch per hour in some areas this afternnoon. The bulk of the snow is expected to fall between 2-8 p.m.
