I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO START PAYING 100% HIGHER TICKET PRICES-GREAT FOR BUSINESS MAYOR

The Village is intent on raising parking fines 100%.  That will not be a remedy for the continuing closing of businesses, nor the creation of new business.  I would institute an Enterprise Zone, much akin to Jack Kemps' idea and giving businesses tax incentives to open new business which would increase revenue to the town through sales tax, create jobs and promote community activism.  Sound complicated - I guess...

I could only come up with one worse analogy - 

• Long separated by cruel fate, the star-crossed lovers raced across the grassy field toward each other like two freight trains, one having left Cleveland at 6:36 p.m. traveling at 55 mph, the other from Topeka at 4:19 p.m. at a speed of 35 mph.
