Karate Brothers Grow Stronger Together With Kickboxing For Fitness Westchester NY. The Level Of Discipline & Focus Are Far Beyond Their Size. True Leaders In The Class And An Inspiration To Us All.

Its been almost 5 years since this family signed up at my school. That means that I have known Jax for most of his life. His brother Corey I’ve known his entire life. That is something incredibly special and awesome to me. In the time the have been here they have proven what hard work can do for you. Whether it be in kickboxing class or during grappling they have shown an astounding amount of focus and discipline.

Jaxon came in as a Cub years ago. I could tell right away that he had a tremendous energy about him. He picked things up quickly and was always smiling. It didn’t take long for him to move up into the regular program. Once he was there he understood the adjustment and requirements needed to perform at this new level. He was eager to meet the challenge. Once he started in grappling was when things got very interesting. This boy is so very fast. He has competed in both our Challenge of Champions and NAGA tournaments. In the kickboxing class he shows very little fear. He moves forward constantly and brushes of attacks like he doesn’t even feel him. As tough as he is and as strong as he is these are not his best attributes. He is a quiet leader in the class. He doesn’t get loud or even upset. He just goes about his business and sets an awesome example for everyone else.

As so many of the kids in my classes Corey started on the sidelines. He watched for years as his brother was on his martial arts journey. He picked up little things here and there and when his time came to start the class he was more then ready. It is always true but still surprises me how good the younger siblings of kids in the class are. I think it’s due to the fact they already know whats expected of them. Corey is the smallest kid in my class. His heart however is huge, three times his size. He does it all. Focus, discipline and a real non quitting spirit that inspires all who sees him. And like his big brother he smiles the time.
