Karate Kid Grace Focuses Her Discipline & Sharpens Her Non-Quitting Spirit With Kickboxing For Fitness In Westchester NY. Learn How She Gained Confidence & Strengthened Her Ability To Defend Herself From Bullying.
Grace is one of four kids, two sets of twins. I know what you are thinking, her poor mother. The truth be told her mom is lucky because she has four awesome kids. I like to think that their experience in martial arts is partially a reason for their awesomeness. Grace started off in Cubs Kickboxing Class back in 2010 with her brother Carter. Since that time I’ve been extremely lucky to watch her grow as she moved into sparring and grappling.
Grace is mostly quiet in class. She doesn’t really say much in terms of words but her actions scream out superstar. She is very very fast and super strong. All the kids in this family have crazy strength. She is always focused in class whether it be kickboxing or jiu-jitsu. For the longest time I figured her to favor grappling class but I found out this last Challenge of Champions that she actually prefers kickboxing. She entered the tournament and did very very well.

Her dedication to improve is something special. She always tries her very best. She like us all has had her hurdles but she faced them all like a champ. She used them in the way all martial artists do. As a motivational tool to increase our resolve and strengthen our non-quitting spirit. Having faced adversity and over come it she is better prepared to deal with the curve balls life will throw at us from time to time. I’m honored to have her and her whole family in my school.
