Karate Kid Grows Stronger With Kickboxing For Fitness In Westchester NY. Having Enhanced Her Ability To Focus And Overcome Adveristy Through Her Hard Work And Discipline, She Is Ready For Life’s Challenges.
When Gracie first started in her training I could see the bright light that was inside her. When she smiles it is infectious, spreading to all those close enough to see it. From the moment she walks into the school she is ready to work. Things are not always so easy for her unfortunately. Like so many of she has her good days and then the days that she struggles. Those days used to be dreadful for both her and her parents. Those days are now further apart.
“Human will is the most powerful force in this universe. When we believe in ourselves we become invincible.”
I think back to when I was a kid and doctors didn’t have all the information they have now. I remember some of my teachers telling my mom that there was no help for me. That my problem focusing was only because I was a bad kid and my trouble sitting still was because I was a bad kid. Being told by my teachers that I was bad and not as smart as the other kids had an extremely negative effect on me as you can imagine. It sapped any desire I had to get better. It made me hate going to school and angry at those who put me down. Gracie has some of these same obstacles in front of her. She though isn’t allowing her to keep her down. She is fighting through as martial artists do. Her parents of course are there to support her every step of the way. Now that she has added martial arts in her life, the change for the better is easy to see.

Gracie is very energetic in class and eager to learn. Where she used to be shy she now always raises her hand and wants to demonstrate for the class. You can see the confidence growing inside of her. Confidence in ones self is an amazingly powerful force. When we believe in ourselves we feel invincible. At times where we used to hide we seek out challenges. When we used to be afraid we are now strong and ready to put forth our best effort. That is whats happening now with Gracie. She is now believing in herself. I am so very proud of her.
