MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the incidents to which Westchester County police responded in the village.
Friday, Feb. 9 –2:29 p.m. -- Westchester County police responded to a home on Croton Avenue on an activated burglar alarm. It was determined that the alarm was set off in error by a contractor.
9:36 a.m. -- Westchester County police responded to Diplomat Towers on a report that a woman was in pain and unable to stand up. She was taken by the Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.

1:21 a.m. -- A resident of West Street reported that she has been receiving threatening phone calls and texts from an ex-boyfriend. The matter was turned over to detectives for additional investigation.
Thursday, Feb. 8 – 12:55 p.m. – Westchester County police responded to a medical practice on Lexington Avenue to assist a man who was having chest pains and experiencing an irregular heartbeat. The man was subsequently transported by ambulance to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.

Wednesday, Feb. 7 – 6:03 p.m. -- Westchester County police responded to an activated fire alarm at a group home on Carpenter Avenue. Officers learned that a fire drill was in progress and determined that staff had attempted unsuccessfully to take the alarm system offline for the drill.
1:44 p.m. -- Westchester County police responded to a residence on Grove Street on a report of a dispute between two roommates. One of the men said he had an ongoing problem with his roommate who plays music too loudly. The dispute was verbal in nature only and no additional police action was needed.
Tuesday, Feb. 6 – 5:55 p.m. – Juana Paulino, 44, of the Bronx was charged with Grand Larceny 4 th Degree and Falsifying Business Records. She was charged following an investigation into the theft of more than $1,000 from a business where she was employed on East Main Street. She was released pending a future court appearance in Mount Kisco Justice Court.
9:42 a.m. – A business on North Bedford Road reported that several attempts have been made to cash fraudulent payroll checks in the company’s name. The case was turned over to detectives for continued investigation.
8:05 a.m. – An employee of a group home reported that someone smashed his car window while it was parked overnight on West Street and stole an iPhone, tools and other items. The stolen property has a value of $1,400. The bottom half of a golf club was found at the scene. It appears the golf club was used to smash the vehicle’s front passenger-side window.
