“These writers bring us mystery, romance, a family saga, treachery and more,” Dunn said, noting that all four authors attended novel writing classes at The Writing Institute.

The books:

In “On the Rocks,” a forty-two-year-old newly retired female NYPD detective comes to the defense of her estranged husband when he is accused of murder.
“The Last Dreamer” is about a wife, mother, and former acclaimed journalist who gave up her career to start a family. Almost fifteen years later, she ponders a return to the journalism game and searches for a way to do it.
“Two-Family House” is about two women who raise their families side by side and form a seemingly impenetrable bond—threatened by misguided choice and tragedy.
“The Phoenix and the Dove” is about a young King James VI who betrays his mother, Mary Queen of Scots, to gain her kingdom and about Mary’s battle against her bastard brother Moray and his Protestant confederates who murder her husband, King Darnley, and frame Mary for his murder.
