​Local DAR Chapter Donates to Veterans Affected by Hurricanes Irma & Harvey

From Polly Cooper NSDAR: The local Polly Cooper Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) recently collected hundreds of dollars in gift cards to benefit our nation’s veterans that were affected by Hurricanes Irma and Harvey. Chapter Regent, Kari Weis, stated that the collection was in response to a call to action from the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution President General, Ann Dillon. Weis said, "Our hearts go out to those who were affected and we are grateful to Mrs. Dillon for her encouragement to support our veterans."

The NSDAR is open to all women, ages 18 and older, who have a direct line to a Patriot who served
