Local DAR Chapter Hosts Genealogy Workshop for Community
Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR Hosts Public Genealogy Workshop at Bedford Free Library

Chappaqua, New York – The Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR hosted a free public genealogy workshop at the Bedford Free Library on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Led by Dr. Jennifer Brola, Registrar of the Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR, participants learned how to document their lineage and how to share information with family and friends. Participants also learned of the extensive resources to consult in their genealogical research efforts.
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890 to promote patriotism, preserve American history, and support better education for our nation’s children. Its members descend from patriots who won American independence during the Revolutionary War.
