Local DAR Chapter Welcomes Over 120 New Citizens
Members of the Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR presented flags at a naturalization ceremony in White Plains

Chappaqua, New York – Members of the Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR were delighted to participate in the naturalization ceremony at Westchester County Court on Thursday, July 12, 2018. The members presented flags to welcome more than 120 new citizens of the United States. Naturalization ceremonies are the final step immigrants must take before becoming a US Citizen, after passing a US citizenship interview and exam.
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890 to promote patriotism, preserve American history, and support better education for our nation’s children. Its members descend from patriots who won American independence during the Revolutionary War.
