Local DAR Donates 102 Seed Packets to Hindman Settlement School

Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR donated seed packets to the Hindman Settlement School's Foodways Program

Chappaqua, NY - Members of the Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR collected and donated 102 seed packets to the Hindman Settlement School’s Foodways Program, which supports the local food system in Eastern Kentucky. The Polly Cooper Chapter also nominated the Hindman Settlement School for the Hudson Valley Seed Company's 2019 Seed Donations Program. Upon selection, Hudson Valley Seed Company donated a box of 50 seed packets to the Hindman Settlement School's Foodways Program.
