Local Daughters of the American Revolution Honor Area Veterans

The Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR presents a wreath during the Moses Taylor Jr. American Legion Post 136's Veterans Day Service

Mount Kisco, NY - The Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR honored local veterans by presenting a wreath during the Veterans Day Service hosted by the Moses Taylor Jr. American Legion Post 136 on Sunday, November 11, 2018. Following a 24-hour guard duty by the Moses Taylor Jr. American Legion Post 136 at the Mount Kisco Veterans Memorial, attendees observed the ringing of the bells at 11 am to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, followed by a service and presentation of wreaths. Members of the Polly Cooper Chapter also provided food and hand warmers for those veterans standing duty during the 24-hour guarding of the Veterans Memorial.
