Mike Bauscher for BCSD Board of Ed!

We have lived in the community for almost five years, and as parents of an infant, we are particularly interested in knowing that Board of Education policies ensure students feel safe and valued, and promote an environment where students can experience great success. If anyone can help foster this important role, it is Mike Bauscher. Mike recognizes that an excellent district must provide every student with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to be competent, compassionate, and contributing citizens. Mike Bauscher is an incredibly responsible, informed and committed community member and certainly possesses the qualities that will make him an excellent Board of Education member.

As Mike’s neighbors, we have been, and continue to be, extremely impressed by his intelligence and even more so by the thoughtfulness he exhibits on a regular basis. He is a wonderful family man who we often see in the neighborhood with his lovely wife, two sons and extended family. He is always willing to lend a helping hand and despite our relatively short time in the community, treats us like family. We know this is a common sentiment among many other neighbors too.

As teachers in a neighboring community, we know how important it is for schools and students to have informed Board members. Without a doubt, Mike will work hard for the students, teachers, parents, guardians, and taxpayers in the district. He is honest, hard-working, humble, and has a perfect balance between head and heart. He believes in children, understands their capabilities and values a school system that does the same. As I’m sure you can agree, the future success of our schools depends on this belief.
