Miles Applebaum's Body Believed Found in Chappaqua
The Armonk 21-year-old had been missing since Monday.

A body found in New Castle is believed to be that of Miles Applebaum, a 21-year-old man whose family had been frantically searching for him since Monday.
“So sorry to post this,” Marni Rabin-Marron wrote on Facebook. “So so sorry for Shari and Ed and their family. May God sustain them in his graces and provide solace and strength along with the many hearts that share in their unimaginable grief.”
Applebaum’s vehicle was found in Glazier Preserve in New Castle on Oct. 1, according to news reports.

The Chappaqua Daily Voice said a member of the New York State Forest Rangers located the body at around 6 p.m. Oct. 2.
Applebaum suffered from depression and was on medical leave from college, according to an interview his father had with the Huffington Post. Congregation B’nai Yisrael held a vigil for Applebaum Thursday night.
