Tires Slashed, Stolen; Cell Phone, Wallet Found: Mount Kisco Police Blotter

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the incidents to which Westchester County Police recently responded.

Friday, June 30 – 10:57 a.m. – A woman who works for a company in Mount Kisco reported that she has been receiving unwanted phone calls at her job from an ex-boyfriend. She requested that a report be prepared to document her concern but declined assistance in seeking an order of protection at this time.

8:58 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to the Boys & Girls Club on a report that a vehicle has been left in the parking lot there for an extended period of time.

3:08 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a business in the 200 block of East Main Street on an activated burglar alarm. The premises were checked and found to be secure.

Thursday, June 29 – 10:48 p.m. – A resident found a cell phone on the sidewalk near the county police precinct on Green Street and turned it in to officers. The owner was contacted and arranged to pick it up.

10:54 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a residence on Grove Street on a report of a domestic dispute there. One of the parties to the dispute agreed to be taken to Northern Westchester Hospital Center for a mental health evaluation.

8:15 a.m. -- Employees at Mount Kisco Volvo/Land Rover reported that all four tires on nine vehicles were slashed overnight. It appears from security video that a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt entered the property at 4:36 a.m. and left at 4:45 a.m.

7:58 a.m. -- An employee at a self-storage facility on Kensico Drive reported that seven tires were slashed on two vehicles parked at the facility overnight.

7:11 a.m. -- Employees at Tesla Motors, 299 Kisco Ave., reported the theft of 16 wheels/tires from four vehicles. The thefts occurred sometime between 10 p.m. on Wednesday and 6 a.m. on Thursday. It appears that the thief or thieves cut a hole in a fence on the property to access the dealership and remove the tires.

Wednesday, June 28 – 1:43 p.m. – A passenger-side window of a vehicle parked in the lot at Bethel Baptist Church on Maple Avenue was smashed by an unknown vandal. Nothing was taken from the car.

Tuesday, June 27 – 3:17 p.m. – A vehicle parked at Main Street and Smith Avenue was sideswiped by a gray SUV that fled the scene.

Monday, June 26 – 5:49 p.m. – A resident of West Street turned in a wallet she found at ShopRite. The owner was contacted and the wallet was returned by an officer.
