Mount Kisco Election Results: Firehouse Renovations

BREAKING: unofficial results from the Westchester County Board of Elections.

MOUNT KISCO, NY — In Mount Kisco the local item on the ballot in 2019 was a request for voters to approve $4 million more for firehouse renovations. And they said OK.

The original $10 million, approved by voters in 2017, was too low due to the architect consultant's mistakes. SEE: Errors Hike Mount Kisco Firehouse Fixes By 70 Percent. The true cost, re-estimated at over $17 million, would be too much, officials decided, so they scaled the whole project back to $14.25 million, and put that total before voters Tuesday.
