The Westchester lottery winner has claimed a cool million after playing the New York State Lottery's "Treasure Hunt" scratch-off game.

MOUNT KISCO, NY — A Westchester County man has claimed his $1,000,000 scratch-off prize, according to lottery officials.
Rodolpho Cervantes Ceferino of Mount Kisco turned in the top prize-winning New York Lottery Treasure Hunt scratch-off ticket.
The winning ticket was purchased at Jayambe Market at 15 Kirby Plaza in Mount Kisco.

Of course, Uncle Sam took a huge chunk of the big prize.
Ceferino received his prize as a single lump sum payment of $496,440 after required withholdings.

The lottery said all top prizes on the Treasure Hunt game have now been claimed. Lower tier prizes can still be cashed through April 19, 2024. Players may check the status of any New York Lottery scratch-off game by downloading the Game Report here.
New York Lottery scratch-off games generated $4,517,682,111 in total sales during fiscal year 2021-2022. School districts throughout Westchester County received $110,125,461 in Lottery Aid to Education funds during the same period.
