Mount Kisco Will Shut Off Water In Some Areas On Tuesday
The Village of Mount Kisco announced that the water department will shut off water, starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, for emergency repairs.
MOUNT KISCO, NY — Officials are warning homeowners to prepare now for a lack of running water beginning tomorrow morning.
The Village of Mount Kisco announced Monday evening that the water department will be temporarily shutting off water service at 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning for emergency repairs. The potentially affected areas are on Main St., from Byram Lake Rd. to Armonk Rd., along with properties on Armonk Rd., including Timber Ridge.
During this time, residents and businesses may not have water. The project is expected to be completed by 3 p.m. Once water service returns, the water may be discolored. This will be temporary and will not pose any health risks. Running the cold water for a short period of time should help the water clear up.
