Dangerous Roads In New Castle: State Of Emergency

NEW CASTLE, NY — A Snow Emergency has been declared for New Castle, police said. It's in effect until noon Thursday. It's unlawful to park or leave a car unattended on any road or highway.

Route 134 is closed near the Millwood Fire Station because a large tree has fallen.

Douglas Road is closed between Kipp Street and Dunbow Drive.

There are many secondary roads closed too, said Lt. James Carroll of the Patrol Division. "Please do not travel as road conditions are extremely dangerous."
