New Castle Will Remember 9/11 On Anniversary

A ceremony will take place in New Castle to honor those who sacrificed in the terror attacks on September 11.

NEW CASTLE, NY — On the 20th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks, the New Castle area community will gather to mourn those who were lost and those who risked everything in response.

The public is invited to arrive at a special memorial ceremony at 9 a.m. on Saturday. A tribute to mark this solemn occasion will begin at 9:15 a.m. at the 9/11 Memorial in Gedney Park, according to organizers.
