NextBarre Opens First East Coast Location in Mt. Kisco

Grand Opening Celebration and Free Classes on Saturday, February 7 and Sunday, February 8

Just in time to help local residents keep their New Year’s resolutions to get in shape, NextBarre has made its much anticipated debut in Mt. Kisco, New York.

This revolutionary barre class merges simple exercises with challenging movements for the most effective core conditioning. Incorporating aspects of yoga, Pilates and ballet, this class is challenging and safe.

In addition to the core NextBarre class, the Mt. Kisco studio offers a NextBarreBasics class, which is ideal for beginners. NextBarreCardio is a one hour cardio class incorporating NextBarre moves with fast-paced cardio sets to raise your heart rate and maximize calorie burn — all while sculpting and lengthening muscles. This class also incorporates light weights and resistance bands.

NextBarre was created in California by Diana Pecci and has quickly gained momentum as one of the hottest and most effective fitness routines available. Having suffered a spinal injury, Pecci learned how to rehabilitate herself and was inspired to share what she learned. That led to creating a system to move the body safely while improving posture, strength and body mechanics in addition to getting a challenging workout to stay fit.

The Mt. Kisco location is co-owned by NextBarre Founder Diana Pecci and Mt. Kisco resident Heather Queiroz. Queiroz was inspired to bring NextBarre to the area after taking classes in California and experiencing changes in her body that she had not found with any other workout. During the past year while searching for the perfect location, Queiroz taught private classes where she developed a loyal following of local women who have become strong supporters of the this method.

“Having tried just about every type of workout program available – including other barre classes – NextBarre was the first one where I experienced meaningful changes to my body. In a relatively short period of time, my muscles became leaner and my body was stronger with the kind of definition and sculpting I had been seeking for years,” notes Queiroz who is also a Master Instructor. “I knew that if I was seeing those kinds of changes, other women could also benefit and became committed to working with Diana to expand the business.”

As a resident as well now a local business owner, Queiroz is committed to using NextBarre as a platform to develop a special community of women supporting each other as well as the community as a whole. This will include everything from developing partnerships with other area businesses to supporting local organizations and charities for donations.

A Grand Opening celebration will be held on Saturday, February 7 and Sunday, February 8. All classes that weekend will be free, and there will also be breakfast available on Saturday (and babysitting for anyone who needs it).

In addition, guests can take advantage of special offers and reserve services from local retailers including:

· KD Studio providing brows and blowout

· Bags from Mia Borsetta

· Clothing from Rie & Ryn

A special promotion will also be offered on February 7 for clients who sign up for the six-month auto-pay program that will lock in a lower rate of $200/month for unlimited classes (represents a savings of $25/month and $99 monthly savings off the regular unlimited monthly package). In addition, anyone who signs up for a series of any kind will be entered in a raffle to win $100 Lululemon gift card.

NextBarre Mt. Kisco is located at 293 Lexington Ave (between Elm and Moore Avenues) in Mt. Kisco; 914.210.0587. Classes are offered daily and the first class is always free.
