Online Banking Theft; Marijuana Arrests; Shoplifting Charge: Mount Kisco Police Blotter

Here are some of the recent incidents to which the Westchester County Police responded.

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the most recent incidents responded to by the Westchester County Police.

Thursday, March 30 – 1:49 p.m. – A village resident reported to Westchester County Police that someone accessed his bank account online to pay a cell phone bill. The resident was advised to contact his bank and obtain a new account number. An investigation is continuing.

Wednesday, March 29 – 3:39 p.m. – County police responded to Lafayette Street on a report of phone wires down in the road. The wires were moved to the side of the roadway and Verizon was notified.

Tuesday, March 28 – 12:49 a.m. – Christopher Anton, 19, of Gregory Avenue was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana 5 th Degree, a misdemeanor, in the Carpenter Avenue municipal lot. An officer on patrol observed two men in the lot and then smelled an odor of marijuana as he approached them. Anton is accused of being in possession of 45 grams of marijuana. The second man was found in possession of 13 grams of marijuana, which is a violation.

Anton was booked at the county police precinct on Green Street and released pending an April 20 appearance in Mount Kisco Justice Court. The second man, also 19, was issued a summons at the scene for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. The summons is returnable in village court on April 20.

5:32 a.m. – Employees at Starbucks on South Moger Avenue contacted county police due to an unwanted person on the premises. The person was directed to leave the store by an officer.

Sunday, March 26 – 6:10 p.m. – Two men were charged with Criminal Trespass 3 rd Degree, a misdemeanor, after they refused to leave Stop N Shop on North Bedford Road as requested by employees. Nery Diaz, 51, of Lexington Avenue and Marcos Morales, 49, who is homeless, were previously barred from the store by management due to past incidents.

Saturday, March 25 – 7:36 p.m. – A 16-year- old Bedford boy was charged with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor, and Trespass, a violation, after he stole two cans of beer from Rite Aid on South Moger Avenue. The youth had previously been told by management to stay out of the store due to a past shoplifting incident.
