The group One Hot Night, a Neil Diamond cover band, performed before a large crowd Wednesday night for the third of Chappaqua's summer concerts.
Playing at the gazebo in Recreation Field, the came with several Neil Young classics, including "Kentucky Woman," "Thank the Lord for the Night Time," and, of course, "Sweet Caroline," the later of which came after demand from the crowd and to dancing of folks by the stage. The night ended with several kids getting involved, getting up on the gazebo stage with the band.
The concert series is supported by New Castle's Recreation and Parks Department and the Chappaqua-Millwood Chamber of Commerce. It also enjoys an array of local businesses as sponsors, while several merchants from Chappaqua and near by had tables and kids' attractions on site.
