Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR Marches in Memorial Day Parade
Daughters were joined by the 5th New York Regiment Revolutionary War Squad.
Members of the Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR were thrilled to participate in the New Castle Memorial Day parade conducted on Monday, May 28. The chapter marched in honor of those who gave who gave their lives in service to our country. They were joined by the 5th New York Regiment Revolutionary War Squad, a living history regiment. In all, the event was cheered on by thousands of spectators and participants which was followed by a service in Chappaqua's Memorial Plaza.
The NSDAR is open to all women, ages 18 and older, who have a direct line to a Patriot who served in the American Revolution. Genealogists are available to help those seeking membership with their applications.
