Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR Welcomes 119 New Citizens
Local DAR chapter recently welcomed new citizens in White Plains

Chappaqua, New York – Vice-Regent Kathy Schreiber was honored to represent the Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR in the naturalization ceremony at Westchester County Court on Thursday, July 26, 2018. Kathy presented flags to welcome 119 new citizens of the United States. Naturalization ceremonies are the final step immigrants must take before becoming a US Citizen, after passing a US citizenship interview and exam.
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890 to promote patriotism, preserve American history, and support better education for our nation's children. Its members descend from patriots who won American independence during the Revolutionary War. With 178,000 members in approximately 3,000 chapters worldwide, DAR is one of the world's largest and most active service organizations.
