Public Employees Federation stands with Murphy for re-election
NEW YORK STATE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES FEDERATION STANDS WITH STATE SENATOR TERRENCE MURPHY FOR RE-ELECTION

ALBANY, NY - One of New York State's top public employee unions has announced its endorsement of State Senator Terrence Murphy. The Public Employees Federation (PEF), which represents 54,000 professionals from across New York State announced its endorsement on Monday, joining a long and prominent list of supporters backing the Hudson Valley State Senator.
State Senator Terrence Murphy said, "PEF represents a diverse workforce from nurses to engineers to accountants. They are highly skilled and trained in their respective fields. I am honored and humbled to have their support for this year's election. Together, we will ensure quality services, protect employee rights, maintain a stable public workforce and improve working conditions for all."
Wayne Spence, President of PEF added, "We are proud to announce that our union is endorsing State Senator Terrence Murphy for this year's election. We know that he appreciates and values the work performed by public employees in his district and around the state. He also understands the needs of working men and women and their families and supports the programs and services that address these needs."
