Repaving Chappaqua Train Station Lot, Aug. 22-26

For commuters who aren't on vacation, there is an alternative

New Castle work crews have started work on repaving the commuter lot at the Metro-North train station in Chappaqua.

The work was scheduled for August to minimize disruption, town officials said.

This is a multi-year project for budgetary reasons. Money for this paving project will be funded from the the increased parking permit fees.

During construction, commuters who have valid parking passes can use the Bell School parking lot across Greeley Avenue if there is a shortage of spaces in that part of the commuter lot that is still available.
