MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the recent incidents to which the Westchester County Police responded.
Friday, Aug. 25 – 11:28 a.m. – Darien Stephens, 24, of Carpenter Avenue surrendered at Mount Kisco
Justice Court on a court-issued warrant charging him with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor
Vehicle. He was arraigned by Justice John Donahue and released on his own recognizance. He is due
back in village court on Sept. 14.
3:47 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to the Saw Mill River Parkway at Croton Avenue after
a vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of travel collided with a pickup truck. The driver
of the wrong-war car, Christopher Scholl, 29, of Crescent Terrace, Bedford Hills, was subsequently
charged with Reckless Endangerment 2 nd Degree, Reckless Driving and Driving While Intoxicated,
misdemeanors. Three Metro-North employees in the pickup truck were injured along with Scholl. All
four were taken to Westchester Medical Center with non-life- threatening injuries.
Thursday, Aug. 24 – 9:04 p.m. – A teenager was charged with Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor, and
Disorderly Conduct, a violation, after Westchester County Police responded to the 100 block of South
Moger Avenue on a report that a large group of youths were causing a disturbance.
6:36 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded with the Mount Kisco Fire Department to the 200
block of East Main Street on a report of an odor of gas. Con Edison was notified and sent a crew to
investigate.
12:10 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Amuso Drive after a home health aide reported
that the elderly woman she cares for was not answering the door. Officers obtained a key from
management and entered the apartment. The woman, who was found to be unconscious on the floor,
was taken by ambulance to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.

Tuesday, Aug. 22 – 10:22 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Northern Westchester
Hospital Center after an employee was struck in the face by a patient receiving a psychological
examination. The incident was turned over to detectives for continued investigation.
