Roads Closed, School Bus Stops Changed In New Castle

CHAPPAQUA, NY — New Castle police report King Street is still closed at Castle Road and Route 117 is closed at Orchard Ridge Road.

School district officials organized Alternate AM Bus Stop Locations:

H2 - SB7 - WO Van 3
Inningwood Rd is closed between Taconic Road and Route 100. Buses will pick up at the intersection of Inningwood Rd and Taconic Rd ONLY. Only bus stops in the affected area will need to meet the buses at the temporary stop. All other bus stops will remain on schedule.
H13 - B5 - G7
Bedford Road (Route 117) is closed between Overlook Dr and Orchard Ridge Rd. Buses will pick up at the intersection of Route 117 and Paulding Drive and the intersection of Route 117 and Overlook Dr for the affected area. Only bus stops in the affected area will need to meet the buses at the temporary stops. All other bus stops will remain on schedule.
B Van 2
Due to a tree hanging on wires on Roaring Brook Rd, Bell Van 2 will not service Roaring Brook Rd between Horace Greeley and The Saw Mill Parkway. Any stops in the affected area will need to meet Bell Van 2 at the entrance to Horace Greeley high school. Only bus stops in the affected area will need to meet the buses at the temporary stop. All other bus stops will remain on schedule.
H5 - B11 - G2
King Street is closed at Castle Rd. Buses will not be able to travel on King Street between Prospect Dr and Poillon Dr. Buses will pick up at the intersections of Prospect Dr at Highland and Prospect Dr and St John’s Pl. Only bus stops in the affected area will need to meet the buses at the temporary stops. All other bus stops will remain on schedule.
