The Scoop On Westchester County Police Department's 'Cops & Cones'

Thursday is your chance to yell "freeze," and gently interrogate local law enforcement, but don't let your captive audience waffle.

MOUNT KISCO, NY — An annual tradition when the community gets a chance to see cops as people and the police get a chance to know the neighbors they serve better while having a little fun at the same time returns this year.

The Westchester County Police will again host the Cops & Cones Community Night in downtown Mount Kisco. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, August 25, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the South Moger municipal parking lot.

The WCPD invites everyone to join them "for a fun and interactive event, geared to promoting community spirit and police — community relations made possible from community support."
