MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the recent incidents to which the Westchester County Police responded in the village.
Friday, April 20 – 11:16 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to North Bedford Road on a report that a 53-year-old man was unconscious. Officers aided the man, who was breathing but not responsive. The man was taken by ambulance to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.
11:12 a.m. – A Kensington Way resident contacted Westchester County Police to report that she had allowed a merchandise re-seller to remove four fur coats and an antique clock from her home and had subsequently received a check for $375. The complainant said she has been unable to reach the re-seller and believes the items are worth much more. She was advised that the dispute was a civil matter, not a police matter.

Thursday, April 19 – 2:42 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a parking lot off East Main Street on a report of an injured goose. The animal was subsequently removed by a wildlife services company.
9:20 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a home on Glassbury Court on an activated burglar alarm. It was determined that the homeowner had activated it in error.

Wednesday, April 18 - 5:38 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Parkview Place after a landlord said she wanted a visitor to her property removed from the premises. The visitor, who was helping her brother move out of the residence, was advised to wait on the sidewalk and assist her brother from there.
4:03 p.m. – A resident of Stockbridge Road reported that a friend in Philadelphia has his dog and is refusing to return it. The owner was advised to pull together all documentation proving the dog is his and the investigation was turned over to detectives and the Westchester County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Tuesday, April 17 – 12:56 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Northern Westchester Hospital Center on a report that a 10-year-old girl was possibly sexually assaulted by a 15-year-old relative who was visiting her home. After an investigation by patrol officers and detectives, the 15-year-old was arrested and charged as a juvenile offender. His case will be heard in Westchester County Family Court.
8:22 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Columbus Avenue on a report that a man had grabbed a woman by the arms and forcibly kissed her against her will. The woman suffered bruises to her arms and was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital Center for medical treatment. Following an investigation, Rigoberto Soriano, 63, of Gregory Avenue was arrested and charged with Assault 3 rd Degree and Sexual Abuse 3 rd Degree, misdemeanors. An order of protection was issued barring him from having contact with the complainant.
Monday, April 16 – 5:55 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a store on South Moger Avenue after receiving a 911 hang-up call. An employee told officers she dialed 911 in error. The public is reminded to stay on the line with a dispatcher if 911 is dialed by accident.
5:51 a.m. -- Westchester County Police and the Mount Kisco Fire Department responded to CVS on a report of a burning smell. The Fire Department determined the source of the odor was a refrigerator case and advised that it be serviced by an electrician.
