Shed The Meds Event Thursday In Mount Kisco
Safely get rid of old medicines at the Fox Senior Center.

MOUNT KISCO, NY — On Thursday, State Senator Terrence Murphy will partner with the Village of Mount Kisco, the Westchester County Police Department, and the Mount Kisco Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Council to bring his "Shed the Meds" program to Mount Kisco. Anyone with unwanted or expired medications can bring them to the Fox Senior Center where they will be disposed of safely.
"Many people who come to Shed the Meds have been storing large quantities of drugs in their medicine cabinets for years, unsure of how they can get rid of them," Murphy said in a press release. "The 'Shed the Meds' program takes potentially dangerous prescription drugs off the streets that could otherwise threaten our children and families."
