Stuck In Snow; Arguments: Police Blotter Mount Kisco

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the recent incidents to which Westchester County police responded.

Friday, Nov. 16 – 11:16 a.m. – A resident whose car got stuck in snow and was towed the previous evening on Maple Avenue contacted Westchester County Police because she didn’t know how to get it back. An officer assisted her in determining where the car had been taken.

10:05 a.m. – A resident of West Street reported that $35 in cash, a power drill and two bottles of prescription medicine were missing from her home office. There was no sign forced entry into the premises. An investigation is continuing.

Thursday, Nov. 15 – 12:03 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to a bank on South Moger Avenue on an activated burglar alarm. The premises were secure. The alarm may have been triggered by a brief power outage that had occurred.

9:14 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a building on South Bedford Road on a report of a noxious odor. Building management evacuated the building as a precaution. An oily rag with a strong chemical odor was found in a garbage pail and was the apparent cause of the strong odor.

5:40 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Main Street on a report that a Bee-Line bus was stuck in the snow and blocking traffic. The driver was able to get the bus moving again and continued along his route.

8:37 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a store on South Moger Avenue after employees reported two people were in a loud argument that might turn into a physical fight. Officers separated the two parties and sent them on their way.

Wednesday, Nov. 14 – 4:14 p.m. – County police responded to a residence on North Moger Avenue on a report of a loud argument between two men. The two men, who are neighbors, were arguing over noise that one of them allegedly causes when he gets up for work at 3 a.m. each day.

2:25 p.m. – County Police responded to the 400 block of Lexington Avenue on a report of a hit and-run property damage accident. A vehicle owner reported that a silver Toyota sedan sideswiped his car while it was parked but did not stop at the scene.

Tuesday, Nov. 13 – 11:29 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Diplomat Drive on a report of a possible domestic dispute in an apartment there. Officers determined that a brother and sister had been in a dispute that was verbal in nature only.
