Tailgating Rage; Son Outside Yelling: Police Blotter Mount Kisco

plus drinking beer in the parking lot; dealer license plates missing

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the incidents to which Westchester County police responded in the village:

Friday, June 8 – 1:35 p.m. – Westchester County Police issued a summons to a man who was drinking beer in a parking lot behind a business in the 100 block of East Main Street. After the open container summons was issued, officers escorted the man from the property.

1:21 p.m. – Westchester County Police assisted an elderly man who injured himself in a fall at his home on Diplomat Drive. He was taken by ambulance to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.

Thursday, June 7 – 8:07 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Lexington Avenue on a report of an activated burglar alarm at a residence. Officers checked the residence and determined the alarm had malfunctioned.

7:20 p.m. -- Westchester County Police conducted a welfare check at a residence on Stewart Place after an out-of-state resident expressed concern for the safety of a friend. Officers spoke with the Stewart Place resident who reported that she was fine.

5:47 p.m. – An officer on patrol intervened when he observed two groups of men engaged in a traffic dispute at Main Street and Carpenter Avenue. Men in one vehicle got out of their car to confront the other after they said they were tailgated. The officer sent both parties on their way separately.

Tuesday, June 5 – 9:29 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a car dealership on Kisco Avenue on a report that several dealer license plates were missing from the business. It remains unclear how long the plates have been missing.

Monday, June 4 – 10:34 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Leonard Street on a noise complaint involving a man who was yelling outside a home. No one was outside when officers arrived on the block. A resident at the house in question said her son had been outside but had come inside for the evening.
