Unwanted Bat, Visitor, Vehicle: Mount Kisco Police Blotter

Thursday, Sept. 3 – 3:33 p.m. – A resident came to the Westchester County Police precinct on Green Street to file a complaint about a local phone store. The person was advised that the dispute involved a civil matter and was not a criminal issue.

11:32 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Laurel Drive on a report of a suspicious person removing items from a home that was recently sold. Officers determined that the man was removing items on behalf of the former owner.

Wednesday, Sept. 2 –9:35 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Boltis Street on a complaint that a vehicle was blocking a private driveway. The car was gone upon an officer’s arrival.

6:47 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to an activated burglar alarm at Enterprise Rent-a-Car on North Bedford Road. The alarm was triggered by employees who had not been apprised by the company that the system’s passcode had been changed.

12:05 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Maple Avenue on a complaint that a man was running in the street and yelling. The man told officers that he had been involved in an argument with another person and was angry. He agreed to return to his home.

12:01 a.m. – A resident of Orchard Road reported to Westchester County Police that a bat was flying around inside his home and he was unable to remove it. Officers responded and were able to put the homeowner in contact with a private contractor who could handle the problem.

Tuesday, Sept. 1 – 8:41 p.m. – A resident of West Street reported to Westchester County Police that an unwanted person was at her home and she wanted him to leave. Officers responded and the man agreed to leave the property.

8:30 p.m. – Joshua Brenna, 26, of Harris Road, Bedford, was taken into custody by Westchester County Police at his residence and charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree, a misdemeanor. He is accused of going to the Mount Kisco workplace of a person he is barred from having contact with under a court- issued Order of Protection.

4:07 p.m. – A Port Chester man wanted on a warrant issued by the Mount Kisco Justice Court was detained by the Ossining Police Department and turned over to Westchester County Police. The court had issued the warrant after William Ramon-Guana, 32, failed to appear in court to answer a Driving While Intoxicated charge. He was turned over to Westchester County Police and was booked at county police headquarters in Hawthorne.
