Using a Snowblower at 2:28AM: Mount Kisco Police Blotter
Businesses harassed; violence at the RiteAid; locked out of the car with a baby and more recent incidents

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the recent incidents to which Westchester County Police responded in Mount Kisco.
Friday, Feb. 17 – 3:12 a.m. – Westchester County Police and the Mount Kisco Fire Department responded to Stop N Shop on North Bedford on report of a small fire in a compressor room. The fire was extinguished and a store employee was treated at the scene for a minor injury.
1:44 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to CVS on North Bedford Road on a report that a customer was causing a disturbance. The man was gone upon an officer’s arrival.

Thursday, Feb. 16 –3:45 p.m. – Westchester County Police and the Mount Kisco Parking Authority assisted a woman with an infant who had locked herself out of her car on Kisco Avenue near Preston Way.
Wednesday, Feb. 15 – 3:48 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Sterling National Bank on Main Street on an activated alarm. It was determined that the alarm system was triggered in error.

Tuesday, Feb. 14 – 2:46 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Hillside Avenue on a report that a metal object was in the road and interfering with traffic. An officer removed the item from the lanes of travel.
8:43 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to East Main Street and North Moger Avenue on a report that a man had entered two businesses and harassed employees. After speaking with the business owners, an officer advised the man that they want him to stay out of their premises and will press criminal trespass charges if he returns.
Monday, Feb. 13 – 2:28 a.m. – A resident of Carpenter Avenue complained to Westchester County Police that she had been awaked by someone using a snow blower on the street. An officer responded and directed a laborer clearing snow to stop using the machine.
Sunday, Feb. 12 – 4:40 p.m. – Erik Landaverry-Lemus, 30, of Columbus Avenue was charged with Assault 3rd Degree, a misdemeanor, following a dispute with another man at Rite-Aid on South Moger Avenue. He is accused of punching the man several times during an argument in the store. He was released on his own recognizance pending a Feb. 23 appearance in Mount Kisco Justice Court.
