Valentine's Day Dining: Prix-Fixe Dinner at Via Vanti!

At Via Vanti! in Mount Kisco, six entrées on the Feb. 14 Valentine’s Day prix-fixe menu will include seafood, osso buco and New York strip steak. A dessert taster for two will offer three different sweet treats. The $65 price per person does not include tax or tip. The dinner will be served from 5 to 9 p.m.

An amuse bouche (shrimp and avocado) will start the meal to be followed by a choice of five appetizers including bisque, salad, sea scallops and more.

The choices available on Valentine’s Day:

Appetizers (chose one):

1. Radicchio Caesar salad. With poppy seeds and edible flowers
2. Wild mushroom bisque. Flavored with black truffles
3. Cured meat selection. Artisan cured meats including salami, burrata
4. Beet and goat cheese Napoleon. Thinly sliced red and golden beets, fresh herbs
5. Sea scallops. Pan seared with shallots, roasted tomatoes, and baby arugula

Entrées (chose one):

1. Roasted halibut filet. With asparagus and Shiitake mushrooms

2. New York Strip Steak. Flame grilled and topped with Porcini sauce and roasted baby potatoes

3. Ligurian seafood stew. Saffron scented broth with sea scallops, mussels, clams, and shrimp

4. Osso buco. Slow braised pork osso buco, fork tender and served with saffron risotto

5. Pappardelle with wild boar ragu. Rich meat sauce with fresh pasta, parmigiana reggiani

6. Champagne Chicken. Pan roasted chicken breast with artichoke, capers, and champagne beurre blanc sauce

Dessert sampler for two:

1. Flourless chocolate cake
2. Tiramisu
3. Gelati
