There are several things you can do this week to help Share Our Strength raise money for its anti-hunger campaign.

The Great Chappaqua Bake Sale is this weekend with the Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival.
But it’s better if you don’t wait to contribute. Visit one of 10 local eateries and buy the special dessert item--100 percent of the proceeds will go to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign.

- “Treats to Beat Childhood Hunger” Retail Bake Sale - Visit the following restaurants and bakeries and 100% of the proceeds from their Great Chappaqua Bake Sale dessert item will be donated to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry mission: Beascakes Bakery and Bread, Crabtree’s Kittle House Restaurant, Flour & Sun Bakery, Frannie’s Goodie Shop, Ladle of Love, Le Jardin du Roi, Quaker Hill Tavern, Restaurant North, Sherry B Dessert Studio & Tazza Café in Millwood.

- The 6th Annual Great Chappaqua Bake Sale will take place at the Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival on Saturday October 3rd from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at Bell School. Join us for delicious baked treats, amazing raffle prizes, Kids’ Corner with candy guessing jar, tattoos and piggy bank sales to help encourage kids to make charity a part of their every day lives. Rain or shine!

“Please join us and help in the fight against childhood hunger,” the organizers say. “All monies raised support Share Our Strength and fund meals programs in New York State that feed hungry children. Every dollar counts - just 1$ can connect a hungry child with up to 10 meals.”
