WATCH: Byram Hills Grad Issues Call to Arms at SAG Awards

David Harbour plays the police chief on Netflix's series "Stranger Things."

ARMONK, NY — David Harbour, whose acceptance speech on behalf of the cast of the Netflix original series Stranger Thing galvanized the audience Sunday night, is an alumni of Byram Hills High School in Armonk.

Harbour, Class of 1993, currently plays the lead role of Chief Jim Hopper on the hit series.

He issued a call to arms "for our fellow craftsmen and women to go deeper, and through our craft to cultivate a more empathetic and understanding society."

As for "Stranger Things, he said, "We will shelter freaks and outcasts, those who have no hope."
