I live in an Italian household; therefore, no grain will go unnoticed in my pantry. I love these whole grain varieties: wild rice, quinoa, farro and whole wheat pasta mixed with veggies and chicken or fish.
2. Cannellini Beans

I’m in love with all beans but the cannellini bean is definitely the way to my heart (and the feeling is mutual). I love adding to homemade salads, soups, side dishes (my favorite is sautéed with kale and lemon juice) for extra fiber and protein.
3. Popcorn
Light popcorn is my go-to snack! It’s super filling for a serving size of 3 cups thanks to all that fiber and not to mention low in calories!
4. Dried Spices
When it comes to spices, I always say follow your nose! I love experimenting with dishes: from chili powder to nutmeg to thyme. Their rich aroma and flavor bring out the best in every dish.
5. 100% Pure Avocado Oil
I love using this smooth, nutty-flavored oil in homemade salad dressing recipes or to sauté chicken. Avocado oil is also very rich in monounsaturated fats (among other beneficial nutrients) aiding in heart health!
