Year End Tips

     I did promise to post here after the Village Board meetings.  I confess to having technical difficulties!!!  Hopefully they have been ironed out-this is what comes from not having a techno-savey in residence!
      Just a few reminders.
      First-If you are a homeowner in New York State currently receiving the Basic Star Tax exemption, you must re-register before December 31st.
You can register by phone: 518-457-2036 or online at tax.ny.gov/pit/property/star13/default.htm.
    If you receive the Enhanced Star benefits, you do not need to re-register.
     Affordable Care Act Navigators are available by appointment only at the Mount Kisco Public library on Tuesdays from 11AM to 6PM and Saturday from noon-4PM.  Please call 914-813-5192 for an appointment.
     A reminder that the Senior Benefits Information Center is available at the Mount Kisco Public Library every Wednesday from 11AM to 2 PM.  It is a free service.  The people there are amazing.  I would encourage you to stop by.
     There is an opportunity for local high school or college students looking for unpaid internships in government for a state assemblyperson, please let me know.
