Yelling Shirtless Man: Mount Kisco Police Blotter
plus disputes with relatives, employees, neighbors; fraudulent checks; stiffing an auto dealer service department

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the recent incidents to which Westchester County Police responded around town.
Friday, April 14 – 12:02 p.m. – A resident of Spring Street contacted Westchester County Police to report that she is fearful of a pit bull that is walked on a leash by a child in the neighborhood. The caller said the pit bill has been aggressive toward her and others but is restrained by the girl. The resident, however, fears that the dog could break free from the child and attack someone. She has asked the family that owns the pit bull to have an adult walk the dog but they refused. She requested that a report be made to document her concerns.
Thursday, April 13 – 1:37 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Foxwood Circle on a report that the front door of a residence was struck by eggs. The owner said she had had a dispute with a relative and believed that person was responsible. An officer contacted the relative who agreed to return and clean up the mess.

Wednesday, April 12 – 2:09 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Amuso Drive after a resident reported that a home health aide she had a dispute with was refusing to leave her apartment. Officers spoke with the caregiver’s employer by phone and escorted the employee from the apartment.
1:09 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Richmond Community Services on North Bedford Road on a report that someone had duplicated an employee’s paycheck and tried to cash the fraudulent copy. The investigation was turned over to detectives.

11:57 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Amuso Drive after a building superintendent there found a lost dog at his building. Officers were able to reunite the dog with its owner, who lives on Croton Lake Road
10:30 a.m. – The owner of a business in the village reported that someone stole five checks and successfully cashed one of them. The owner also reported that she had to fire someone recently and suspects the former employee. The investigation was turned over to detectives.
1 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to South Moger Avenue on a report that two women were involved in a loud argument in a car. Officers located the women who said they had been talking and laughing but had not been involved in an argument.
Tuesday, April 11 – 1:09 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Brookside Avenue on a report that a shirtless man was running through yards and yelling. Officers located the man who said his dog had run out of the house and he was trying to find it.
9:52 p.m. – An auto dealership on North Bedford Road reported that a customer drove his car off the lot without paying for repairs that had been made. Officers contacted the man and family members and advised that the man return to settle the bill. The man has yet to do so and the case has been turned over to detectives.
Monday, April 10 – 5:55 p.m. – A resident reported to Westchester County Police that someone damaged the driver’s side door of her car while it was parked outside Mrs. Green’s supermarket on Lexington Avenue.
